Freedom, good bed, warm shower, very friendly host, good kitchen full of supplies like spices and whatever you actually can think of, piano to play on, nice living room, great backyard to sit in the sun (if any), and without the borrowing of a jacket my stay in St. Johns would have been different experience...

I stayed 5 nights. Wallace is a generous and friendly host. He was helpful by offering some transportation and even a couple of unexpected meals. This is a great place, especially for the solo traveller open to meeting others. There are 3 rooms, which means you might meet interning people. In my case, I met a fellow who was open to showing me the city and several of the hiking trails that reveal the magnificent coastal landscape. This made a great stay even better and more memorable. I would stay here again if the opportunity comes.

The location was great and the house itself was very cosy and well cared for. Our host was welcoming and accommodating, we had use of the main floor and kitchen as well as the deck and the morning coffee was delicious! Our host can’t do enough for his guests and genuinely wants you to have everything you need and have a comfortable stay. Wonderful person.

Extremely friendly and helpful host. Food way in excess of a normal B&B was provided. The host drove me to the airport. The host was there if you wanted to discuss any issues but otherwise allowed free run of the house.
Everything was perfect.

(1) Surroundings
Perfectly located for travelers, not far from the airport. Nearby facilities are all a short walk away: Sobey's, Mary Brown's, RBC, Pipers, Dollarama, First Choice Hair, Lawtons, several restaurants, and Quidi Vidi Lake. Despite being next to downtown, it's quiet and peaceful. Few places in St. John's have such great walking access to amenities.

(2) Host
Wallace is an incredibly kind and considerate host. I was comfortable throughout my stay. He may look tough, but he's very easy-going person—just a friendly neighbor. He is always ready to help guests and is very hardworking.

(3) House
A beautiful, typical Canadian home with a lovely backyard, cozy living room, clean bathroom, and a washing machine. The room is clean and comfortable, with a desk, fridge, microwave, wardrobe, and storage. The bed was more comfortable than a luxury hotel in Rome.

I'm sad to leave but happy to share this opportunity with you.

Comfortable double bed with a firm mattress and plenty of storage. Llewellyn is an avid cook which means the kitchen is well-stocked with everything you might need, and you might be offered something he's made. He is extremely accommodating - if you need a ride somewhere or to go grocery shopping, he will go out of his way to take you.
